Far and In-between
This project discovers the in-between moments. I utilize my driver's seat to photograph the outside world. There is something special about the relationship between the driver and the mirrors they use to see. When I am driving, I look behind me and think about everything I needed to accomplish to get to this moment. I consider my car my safe space. It is a space where I can be myself unapologetically - a space where I can express emotions and relive memories. These photos represent those moments.
Waves
In this project I combine my love for poetry and water with my passion for photography. I wrote this poem titled "Waves" at 11:00PM by Lake Superior. My emotions were heightened as I was sifting through a lot of personal things. I want the viewer to feel my emotions and how writing was able to calm them in the end.
